Reviews and Ratings
The resort has stunning views and a charming wooden design, making for a beautiful experience. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, but the service left much to be desired, particularly with the dining and check-in processes. Additionally, the location requires a steep climb to reach the rooms, which can be quite tiring after a long day. Overall, it has the potential for a great stay but falls short in several areas.
I had a wonderful experience at Naksel during my recent stay, especially enjoying the spacious junior suite and the fantastic views of the Tiger's Nest. Unfortunately, a troubling incident at checkout left a bad taste in my mouth, overshadowing an otherwise great visit. The food was superb and the atmosphere so tranquil, but the check-out experience was frustrating due to some misunderstandings regarding charges.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! Nestled on a hillside, it offered breathtaking views of the Himalayas and the iconic Tiger's Nest. The spacious rooms were comfortable and equipped with modern amenities, and the service was genuinely attentive. However, the restaurant could use a little more variety in its menu, and the steps to the rooms can be a bit challenging at such a high altitude.
I had a mixed experience at NakSel Resort. The views from the hillside are stunning, and the staff are genuinely caring. However, I found the hotel lacking in several areas, including room quality and dining options. While the peaceful setting is a definite plus, some aspects felt outdated and in need of improvement.
My stay at Naksel was lovely with beautiful nature and good amenities. The staff was very attentive, especially Mr. Prakash who ensured I had Jain food. However, I had a frustrating experience during checkout which marred an otherwise enjoyable visit. The location is also quite peaceful but far from shops, and you should definitely buy from the local market instead of the resort store, which is pricey.
