The resort has stunning views and a charming wooden design, making for a beautiful experience. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, but the service left much to be desired, particularly with the dining and check-in processes. Additionally, the location requires a steep climb to reach the rooms, which can be quite tiring after a long day. Overall, it has the potential for a great stay but falls short in several areas.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with lovely views from certain rooms. However, the beds were lumpy, which did affect comfort.
Service
5.0
The service was frustrating, especially during check-in which took way too long, and the dining experience was disappointing with slow service.
Location
7.0
The resort is positioned on a hillside next to the forest, providing breathtaking views but making access to the rooms difficult, especially for older guests.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were quite limited, and the food quality did not meet expectations, especially considering the long wait times.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were basic, and the overall amenities were lacking. Wi-Fi often didn't work in the rooms, which was a big drawback.

I had a wonderful experience at Naksel during my recent stay, especially enjoying the spacious junior suite and the fantastic views of the Tiger's Nest. Unfortunately, a troubling incident at checkout left a bad taste in my mouth, overshadowing an otherwise great visit. The food was superb and the atmosphere so tranquil, but the check-out experience was frustrating due to some misunderstandings regarding charges.

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! Nestled on a hillside, it offered breathtaking views of the Himalayas and the iconic Tiger's Nest. The spacious rooms were comfortable and equipped with modern amenities, and the service was genuinely attentive. However, the restaurant could use a little more variety in its menu, and the steps to the rooms can be a bit challenging at such a high altitude.

Rooms

The rooms were large and featured a balcony with stunning mountain views. The bathroom had heated floors and a bathtub, which was perfect after a long day of hiking.

Located high on a hillside, the hotel offers magnificent views and a peaceful atmosphere, though getting to the rooms requires some effort due to the incline.

I had a mixed experience at NakSel Resort. The views from the hillside are stunning, and the staff are genuinely caring. However, I found the hotel lacking in several areas, including room quality and dining options. While the peaceful setting is a definite plus, some aspects felt outdated and in need of improvement.

Rooms
5.0
The room had a rustic charm, but it felt quite dated with a broken security lock and inadequate toiletries. The bed was smaller than expected, and the pillows were uncomfortable.
Service
8.0
The staff were attentive and friendly, making an effort to enhance our stay. However, the hotel needs to work on its maintenance and facilities.
Location
9.0
Located on a hillside, the resort offers incredibly peaceful views and a serene atmosphere, making it a great getaway from the hustle and bustle.
Dining
5.0
Dining was a letdown, considering the breakfast options were limited, and the food quality didn't meet expectations.
Facilities
6.0
While the hotel's facilities like the terrace have good potential, they lacked warmth and comfort, like cushions for the chairs.

My stay at Naksel was lovely with beautiful nature and good amenities. The staff was very attentive, especially Mr. Prakash who ensured I had Jain food. However, I had a frustrating experience during checkout which marred an otherwise enjoyable visit. The location is also quite peaceful but far from shops, and you should definitely buy from the local market instead of the resort store, which is pricey.

Rooms
9.0
The rooms are spacious with great views and equipped with amenities, but missing some toiletries unless requested.
Service
7.0
The service was attentive and helpful until an unfortunate checkout incident soured my experience.
